Tiffin University suffered a tough 1-0 loss to Alderson Broaddus to start their West Virginia trip.

The Dragons (7-3-2, 5-3-2 GMAC) allowed a goal in the 66th minute to Yannick Koffi and were unable to equalize over the remaining 24 minutes.

After a scoreless first half, the Dragons had a golden opportunity in the 60th minute when Caleb Gibbons shot hit the crossbar. Following the Battlers' goal, Tiffin only got one more shot on goal, as Abdoul Magid Sy put a shot on the mark in the 77th minute but it was saved.

Overall Tiffin led 17-12 in shots and 5-3 in corner kicks.

Dylan Morris took the tough loss in goal, making 3 saves over 90 minutes.
