Tiffin University tied its second highest single game scoring total in 16 years, blasting past Kentucky Wesleyan 8-0 at Paradiso Fields.

Things started ominously for KWC when they scored an own goal in the 5th minute. Darren Appanah made it 2-0 off a nice double assist from Lucas Manneck and Eduardo Carvalho in the 21st minute.

Carvalho got in on the scoring in the 28th minute with his own goal off a pass from Abdoul Magid Sy

Joel Daly put TU up 4-0 at halftime with a score from a pass from Samuel Costello in the 44th minute as the rout continued.

Daly got his second goal of the game in the 60th minute, with Carvalho getting another assist.

Caleb Gibbons took a pass from Manneck to make it 6-0 in the 68th minute, and Appanah put another goal in the net two minutes later off another dish from Sy. The scoring ended in the 73rd minute with another own goal by the Panthers.

Overall the Dragons thoroughly overwhelmed KWC, outshooting them 25-1 and allowing no shots on goal. Dylan Morris got the win and shutout in the nets over 90 minutes.

TU also held a 7-1 edge in corner kicks.
