Tiffin University suffered its first loss of 2019, as the 21st ranked Dragons fell 2-0 to the 13th ranked Lake Erie Storm in Painesville, Ohio.

The game was close, with Tiffin allowing a goal in the 30th minute to Javier Borreguero to trail 1-0 at halftime.

Tiffin did not lack for shots, as they outshot the Storm 15-9 and held a 6-3 edge in corner kicks. The game remained close throughout the second half, with Caleb Gibbons putting a shot on goal in the 66th minute. Tiffin kept up the pressure, as Lukas Manneck forced Lake Erie to make another save with Tiffin's final shot on goal in the game.

Less than 30 seconds after Manneck's shot, Ayden Von Essen got a huge insurance goal for the Storm in the 86th minute to close out the scoring.

Dylan Morris took the loss in goal, making 3 saves in 90 minutes.
