Tiffin University won the 2018-19 G-MAC Championship after their 4-0 win over Findlay.

A lot of things went right for Tiffin University's men's soccer team in their regular season finale against Findlay.

The Dragons (13-4, 11-3 G-MAC) avenged an earlier season loss at Findlay with a dominant 4-0 win over the Oilers.

Leo Hasenstab paved the way with a hat trick accomplished on Senior Day, with all his goals coming in the first half.

Oh, by the way, the win, coupled with Cedarville's 2-1 loss to Ohio Dominican, gave the Dragons the regular season Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship and the opportunity to host the G-MAC Tournament next week as the top seed.

Quite the way to enter the postseason.

"I'm so proud of our team's performance this season," said Head Coach Rudy Brownell. "The adversity they have overcome and the hard work they have put in makes me so proud to be their coach. To win the G-MAC in our first year speaks volumes to how much our players and my staff have prepared for every game."

The Dragons got on the board in the 9th minute, when Hasenstab took George McCarthy's corner kick and flicked it into the goal to give TU a 1-0 lead.

Hasenstab then made it 2-0 in the 35th minute, getting a breakaway opportunity that he shot right beneath the goalkeeper.

Kangni Gabianou gave TU a 3-0 lead in the 43rd minute off a cross from the left from Darren Appanah, and Hasenstab got his hat trick seconds later, stealing a pass 11 seconds later and shooting left underneath the keeper again to finish TU's scoring.

TU's dominance continued in the second half, as they outshot Findlay 20-3. TU allowed only one soft shot on goal while also holding a 6-2 corner kick advantage.

Dylan Morris (68 minutes) and Cary Wilson (22 minutes) combined in goal for the shutout, with Morris making one save.
