Dragons fall to Drury 2-1 in NCAA Regional

Tiffin University's outstanding men's soccer season came to a close in the Second Round of the NCAA Midwest Regional, as they fell to Drury 2-1 at Saginaw Valley State University.

All the scoring action came in the opening half, as Drury scored two goals to open the game. They got their first goal in the 6th minute off a long free kick following a Dragons' hand ball. They made it 2-0 after another goal booted in from the top left of the box.

Tiffin got their goal when Michael McPeek took a nice two-touch pass from Spencer Wood and Andre Landell to make it 2-1 at the half.

Throughout the second half, the Dragons fired an onslaught of shots at Drury but could not strike gold. They eventually outshot Drury 24-8 in the game, including 8-4 on shots on goal. They also held a strong 10-2 lead in corner kicks.

Cary Wilson took the loss in goal, making 2 saves. Tiffin finishes their season with a 14-5-2 record.
