Travis Brown has been named Head Men's Lacrosse Coach at Tiffin University.

Brown recently finished his fourth season as the head coach of the Westminster men's lacrosse team in 2022. The Titans advanced to the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship in two of his four seasons with the Titans.

In 2021, the Titans finished second in the conference with an average of 16 goals per game (224 total) and 9.5 assists per game (133 total).

In Brown's first year at the helm in 2019, the Titans had the most successful season in the history of the program, finishing with an overall record of 10-8 and 5-2 in the PAC. The Titans' 10 wins are the program's most in a single season. Westminster also made it to the inaugural PAC Championship game and advanced to its first ECAC Championship appearance.

An assistant coach for the Titans in 2018, Brown served as a graduate assistant at Heidelberg University prior to arriving at Westminster.

Brown was a volunteer coach and defensive coordinator for his alma mater, Aurora University, in the spring of 2015. Brown also served as the head lacrosse coach for the U13 Boys Select Team in St. Charles, Illinois in the fall of 2015.

Brown is a graduate of Aurora University where he was a four-time varsity letterman for the men's lacrosse team. Brown was voted team captain his senior season and went on to win Defensive MVP for the Spartans the same year. He helped guide Aurora to three NCAA Tournaments, making the Sweet 16 all three years. He was named on the All-Midwest Lacrosse Conference team his junior and senior seasons.

"I'm very excited to join the TU athletic community, which is known for its excellence within the classrooms and on the fields," said Brown. "This is an exciting time to bring the game of lacrosse to the Tiffin community. I'm ready to get started and bring high-quality student-athletes to campus."

"We are very excited not only with the addition of the men's lacrosse program but in the hiring of Travis Brown," said AD Lonny Allen. "Travis has been in Tiffin as a coach and understands the landscape of recruiting Ohio, Pennsylvania, and the east coast. We believe he will hit the ground running and in no time have us as a contender for GMAC championships and qualifying for NCAA postseason play. We look forward to the progression of the program and again are so excited to have Travis as a Dragon."
