Dragons win Kyle Ryman Memorial by 12 strokes

Tiffin University pulled away from the field in the third round of the Kyle Ryman Memorial, winning by 12 strokes.

The Dragons had their best round of the Invitational, improving by 5 strokes for 285 in round three to finish with an 873 total. They got progressively better each round, opening with 298 and posting 290 in round two. TU was tied with Malone after round two but outshot the Pioneers in round three by 13 strokes.

Wayne State was second with 885, followed by Malone with 886. Hillsdale was also in the mix with 888 while Cedarville finished with 890.

Matt Flynn remained in third place overall with 214 to lead TU, while Mitchell Brassard was 11th with 219 and Johan Widal was 14th with 221. Widal cut 4 strokes off his round two score (74-70) while David Siegel also shot well, finishing with 223 and improving by 7 strokes (78-71). Justin Hand also shot 227.

Tiffin's B squad finished 11th, shooting 906 (299-301-306). Braeden Casto placed 18th overall with 222, while Tison Alexander was right behind with 224. Colton Vincelette cut 5 strokes off his round two score to finish with 226. Garrett Kuppler and Benjamin Dearth both finished with 238.

Golfing as individuals, Michael Chapman shot 229 while Jayson Beckner finished with 251.
