Dragons in 7th place at Doc Spragg Invite after first day

Tiffin University was 7th of 17 teams after two rounds at the Doc Spragg Invitational hosted by the University of Findlay.

Grand Valley State led the field with 559 but was closely followed by Missouri-St. Louis and Wayne State with 560 each while Findlay sat at 561.

The Dragons shot 290 in round one and 287 in round two for a 577 total.

Johan Widal was in 12th place overall, just ahead of teammate Justin Hand (16th) 141-142. Widal shot 69-72, while Hand was opposite with 73-69.

Mitchell Brassard and David Siegel tied with 148 totals, with Brassard shooting 76-72 while Siegel stayed steady with two rounds of 74. Matt Flynn shot 152 (74-78).

Garrett Kuppler shot 151 (78-73) as an individual.
