Tiffin University sat in 8th place out of 15 teams after day one of the Watrous Intercollegiate held in Bay City, Michigan.

Findlay led the event with an opening round of 284, followed closely by Grand Valley State with 286 and Northern Michigan with 287. The Dragons posted a 298 total.

The Dragons' top five were all within two strokes of each other. Michael Weppernig and Tison Alexander were tied with 74, followed by Noah Barth and David Siegel with 75. Nico Kyprian was next with 76.

Matt Flynn shot 75 and Cole Cisco followed with 80 shooting as individuals.
