TU finishes 5th at Arendsen Invitational

Tiffin University improved its round two scores but remained in 5th place at the Arendsen Invitational played at The Meadows in Allendale, Michigan.

The Dragons fired 297 in round three, bettering the 302 mark from round two but coming up just short of round one's 294. TU totaled 893, finishing 12 behind Wayne State's 881. Grand Valley State won the invite with 848, followed by Findlay with 862 and Indianapolis with 870.

Nico Kyprian was the highest finisher for TU in 15th place. He cut three strokes off his round two score of 75 with 72 in round three, finishing with 218 total. Michael Weppernig also finished Top 20 with a 20th place finish with 222 (71-75-76).

Noah Barth also was slightly better in round three, shooting 76-75-74 for a 225 total, while David Siegel was two strokes better (78-77-75) with a 230 total. Matt Flynn was fifth for TU with 236 (76-81-79).

Caleb Delaney (241) and Justin Hand (243) also golfed as individuals.
