Tiffin University landed in the top five after two rounds of the GMAC Championship at University Club of Kentucky-Big Blue.

The Dragons shot 294 in round one and dropped back to 299 in round two for a total of 593. That placed them four strokes back of Ohio Dominican (589) and 10 behind Hillsdale (583). Trevecca Nazarene led the 11-team field with 566, 14 strokes ahead of second-place Findlay (580).

Tiffin had two of the top five golfers on the course. Cameron McCloskey shot 73 followed by a blistering round of 69 for a 142 total and sits in 3rd place overall. Britton Hensel was right behind in 5th place, shooting 70-73 for 143.

Noah Barth was next with 153, opening with 74 and falling off to 79 in round two. He did have the day's highlight, though, as he nailed a hole-in-one on the par-3 No. 17 with a 6 iron from 207 yards out.

Nico Kyprian was consistent with rounds of 77 and 78 for 155, while Justin Hand rounded out the field with equal rounds of 79 for 158.

Play concludes April 20.
