Barth finishes 4th as Dragons hold at 11th at Purgatory

Tiffin University improved in their final round at the Ken Partridge Invitational played at Purgatory Golf Course, but remained in 11th place as the invite concluded.

The Dragons chopped five strokes off their round two score (310-305), finishing with 912 overall. Indianapolis won the event with 887, just holding off Grand Valley State with 888 and Findlay with 890.

Noah Barth finished 4th overall, again showing great consistency with 73-72-74 for 219. His nearest teammate was 12 strokes back, as Justin Hand bounced back to round one form with a third round of 75 (75-81-75 for 231). 

Nico Kyprian also held steady with 77-79-77 for 233, while Cameron McCloskey improved by four strokes (83-79) in round three. Overall he fired 72-83-79 for 234. Britton Hensel brought up the rear with 88-78-82 for 248.

David Siegel also shot well as an individual, shooting 80-72-75 for 227.

"Although we got off to a hot start this week we were not able to finish it off," said Head Coach Jacob Miller. "I'm really happy for Noah Barth for a top five finish and a part of the All Tournament team. We head out in five days and are excited to compete for the GMAC championship."
