Tiffin University finished 5th of 21 teams at the SVSU Spring Invitational.

The Dragons stayed consistent with round one, shooting 296 after firing 292 on day one. Overall the top five golfers for TU had a great pack score, with just two strokes separating all five golfers. 

The Dragons shot 588 overall, while Grand Valley State won the event with 571. Trevecca Nazarene was second with 578, while Ferris State (583) and Hillsdale (584) were next.

Britton Hensel was 5th overall, shooting 70-73 for 143, while Noah Barth was 11th shooting identical rounds of 73 for 146.

Nico Kyprian shot 72-75 for 147, while Cameron McCloskey improved from 77 to 75 for 152. Justin Hand had the best improvement, going from 79 to 75 for 154.

David Siegel also shot 148 as an individual golfer, shooting 76-72.

"We saw a lot of positives from all six guys this week," said Head Coach Jacob Miller. "Back to back top five finishes, in large, strong fields is always a good thing. But there is a lot of room to improve for the next couple events. We  are looking forward to teeing it up again next weekend."
