Dragons move up to 5th on final day of Music City Invite

Tiffin University improved by seven strokes on day two of the Music City Invitational, finishing 5th overall.

Host Trevecca Nazarene won the event with 569, followed by Northwood with 577. Ferris State and Ashland tied with 581, while the Dragons were right on their heels with 583.

"After a five-month off season, it felt good to see our guys compete again," said Head Coach Jacob Miller. "Only finishing three back of third place in a solid regional field, we have a lot of positives to take with us for the rest of the season."

Nico Kyprian finished 7th overall, shooting 72-72 for 143, while Britton Hensel was also consistent with 74-73 for 147. Justin Hand and David Siegel showed the most improvement, both chopping five strokes off their day two total. Hand finished 76-71 for 147 and Siegel shot 78-73 for 151. Cameron McCloskey also shot 73-76 for 149.
