Dragons finish 7th at Doc Spragg Invite

Tiffin University stayed consistent in round three of the Doc Spragg Fall Invitational, shooting 301 to finish 7th of 14 teams.

The Dragons had shot 300 and 296 over the first two rounds at the invite played at Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio. They totaled 897, 40 strokes behind champion Indianapolis withi 857. Findlay had 867, while Hillsdale had 875.

Nico Kyprian improved by one spot in the overall standings, finishing 9th with 217. He also stayed consistent, shooting 73 in his final round after opening with rounds of 71 and 73.

Cameron McCloskey dropped from 72 in round two to 74 in round three to finish with 221. Noah Barth shot 77 in round three, off three strokes from round two, to conclude with 229.

Britton Hensel (76-79-77 for 232) and David Siegel (83-77-77 for 237) rounded out the field for Tiffin's A squad.

The Dragons' B team finished 14th with 944 and was led by Justin Hand's 230. Colton Vincelette shot 238 and Shayne DeWitt finished with 240. Cole Cisco (244) and Brandon Azzi (246) posted the final two spots for the B squad.

Matt Flynn and Cameron Casto also competed as individuals, with Flynn posting an impressive 226 score. Casto also did well, shooting 237. 

Tiffin next competes at the UIndy Fall Invite on Sept. 28-29.
