Tiffin University could not keep up the pace it set for itself after the first two rounds, as a 16 stroke difference in round three placed the Dragons 6th at the Don Underwood Invitational at The Meadows Golf Course in Allendale, Michigan.

Tiffin had been rock steady in the first two rounds, shooting identical rounds of 294 and sitting in fourth place after day one. But the third round was not as efficient, as TU fell back to a 310 score to finish with a three round total of 898. Findlay won the event with a 864 score, followed by Wayne State with 869.

Nearly all the Dragons were off their second round scores. Britton Hensel finished 9th overall for the best TU finish, falling from 72 to 76 in round three for a 218 total.

Cameron McCloskey was six strokes off (72-78) for a 222 total, while David Siegel did the same (73-79) for a 230 mark. Nico Kyprian went from 77 to 80 for a 231 finish, and Felix Salomonsson improved by a stroke (78-77) for 234.

"After a quick turn around from the Ohio Cup, I was pleased with how the men started out the first 36 holes," said Head Coach Jacob Miller. "We can now get a good week of practice in before we travel next weekend to the G-MAC Fall Invite in Owensboro. I can't wait to see how we stack up against the other teams in our conference."
