Tiffin University (6-9, 4-5 G-MAC) had a strong first half and weathered a Kentucky Wesleyan run in the second half to preserve an 82-70 win.

The Dragons held a 17-13 lead early but then exploded on a 23-5 run that pushed their lead to 40-18 with 5:19 left in the half. TU ultimately led 42-28 at halftime.

KWC came out of the locker room and went on a 16-8 run that cut TU's lead down to 50-44 at the 14:04 mark. TU regrouped, however, putting together a 19-11 run that pushed them back to a 15-point lead.

Tiffin's hot shooting kept the Panthers at bay, as TU scorched the nets for 56 percent in the game while also outrebounding KWC 34-29. While both teams committed 14 turnovers, the Dragons made the Panthers pay for their miscues, posting a 22-12 points-off-turnovers differential.

Five Dragons ended up in double figures, with Morgan Taylor leading the way with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Wesley Jordan finished with 13 points and 8 rebounds, while Joshua Rivers, Carius Key, and Ian Lopez all had 11 points.
