The Tiffin University men's basketball team (0-2, 0-0 GMAC) lost to Missouri-St. Louis 67-54.

The Tritons built an 11-6 lead in the first five minutes of play, but the Dragons responded with a 5-2 run to bring the score to 13-11. UMSL went on a 9-0 run to lead 24-13 with five minutes left in the first half. TU responded with an 8-0 run to bring the score to 24-21. The Tritons went into the break with a 31-26 lead.

UMSL came out strong in the second half as they built a 50-31 lead over the Dragons through the first ten minutes of action. Tiffin had a late surge but the Tritons survived to take the 67-54 win.

Carius Key led the Dragons' offense, scoring 21 points shooting 6-for-10 from the field and 5-for-8 from beyond the arc, Jacob Pleiman came off the bench and scored eight points shooting 2-for-2 from three-point territory, and Trent Williams had seven points shooting 3-for-10 from the field, three rebounds, and two assists.
