Dragons Upended by Yellow Jackets

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Tiffin men's basketball could not get much going on the offensive end on Thursday night, falling to Cedarville on the road by a final score of 86-63.

Jairus Stevens led the Dragons with 15 points and seven rebounds, followed by Joshua Williams at 12 points. Trent Williams added 11 points, while Wesley Jordan had eight points and nine boards.

Tiffin went 21-60 from the field (35%) for the game, while Cedarville shot 53.4% (31-58). The Dragons performed better than their average from the free-throw line, going 15-19 (78.9%), but Cedarville did not miss from the charity stripe, converting all 17 of their attempts.

The Dragons did have the advantage in offensive rebounding, grabbing 12 to Cedarville's eight, and that led to a 17-11 advantage in second-chance points on the night. TU also outgained Cedarville in fastbreak points to the tune of a 13-4 margin.

Tiffin will look to turn things around on Saturday when they travel to face the Storm of Lake Erie College at 1:00 p.m. in Painesville.
