INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has announced the 2018-19 Men's Basketball All-Conference Teams, and Tiffin senior Austin Adams has received Second Team recognition.
The award marks Adams' third-straight All-Conference honor, as he also was named Second Team All-GLIAC after each of the past two seasons.
This year, Adams was third on the team with 14.8 points per game, second with 6.9 rebounds per game, third with 2.0 assists per game, fourth with 1.2 steals per game, and second with 0.5 blocks per game.
His rebounding mark was good enough for 10th in the GMAC, and the forward also finished fifth in the conference by shooting 52.7% from the field.
Adams scored over 20 points six times this season, including a pair of 29-point efforts against Purdue-Northwest and Davis & Elkins. He also recorded double figures in scoring in 21 of 28 games, and registered five double-doubles, most notably a 21-point, 17-rebound performance against Trevecca Nazarene.
Despite playing just three seasons in a Dragon uniform, the senior ends his Tiffin career 10th in program history with 632 rebounds and eighth with a career field goal mark of 54.4%.
