Parker Carmichael will begin his third season as the Running Backs Coach, Special Teams Coach, and Director of Football Operations for the Dragons in 2022-23.
During the 2021 season, TU boasted the top scoring offense in the conference with 32.5 ppg while also finishing second in yards per game with 426.1. They also led the GMAC in passing with 268.6 yards per game.
During the 2020-21 season, Parker helped lead the Dragons to their second consecutive GMAC title with the conference's top offense. TU led the GMAC in yardage (423.7), more than 50 yards ahead of any other GMAC offense. They also led the GMAC in passing offense and offensive efficiency.
Prior to joining the TU football staff, Carmichael spent a year at Lancaster High School as a math teacher and Quarterbacks Coach.
Carmichael played quarterback at Ohio Dominican University from 2015-2018 where he graduated with a BS in Education.
Originally from Wooster, Ohio, Carmichael graduated from Triway High School in 2015. He was a 3 time All-Ohio selection at Quarterback and the Div. IV Player of the Year his senior year. He also played in the North South Classic All-Star Game.
