Hunt team takes 4th at Stonegate

Tiffin University's Hunt Seat team finished 4th at Stonegate.

Tiffin University's Equestrian Team traveled to Athens, Ohio this weekend to compete at Stonegate Farms of Ohio University.

Tiffin competed against four teams: Ohio State University, Otterbein University, Ohio University, and Denison University.

On Saturday, the team got 4th out of 5 teams. Congratulations to junior Devyn Hennessey for qualifying for regionals in intermediate flat and moving into the open flat division.

On Sunday, the team received 4th and had several highlights. Congratulations to two juniors, Sydney Cox and Devyn Hennessey, for both placing first in their intermediate over fences classes. Great job to junior Lindsay Weiser for earning second in intermediate fences and to senior Rebecca McCrea for receiving third in intermediate fences as well. Congrats to freshman Caleigh Widmayer for placing second in her limit fences class.

Tiffin Equestrian Team will return to Athens, Ohio on March 15th to compete in regionals with three riders: Devyn Hennessey in intermediate flat, Sydney Cox in limit over fences, and Arissa Hendershot in introductory. A complete list of the placings can be found below.
