Hunt squad finishes 4th at Miami

Tiffin University's hunt team took fourth at Miami.
Tiffin University's hunt team took fourth at Miami.
This Saturday the hunt team started their season at Miami University at the combined region horse show.
 
Tiffin University ended up fourth out of seven teams in the team standings behind Otterbein, Ohio State University, and Ohio University.
 
Lindsay Weiser started the day off for Tiffin in the intermediate over fences and put in a solid round. In her intermediate flat class she walked away with fourth place and rode beautifully. Devyn Hennessey went for her intermediate over fences class rode great and ended up third. In her intermediate flat class Devyn Hennessey rode great and secured fourth place. Freshman Caileigh Widmayer and Laynnae Krantz both put in fantastic jumping rounds, Caileigh Widmayer placed fourth and Laynnae Krantz third, and fifth and third respectively on the flat.
 
Sydney Cox rode great and placed fourth in the fences and fifth in the flat after a beautiful ride. Melody Lozano and Caroline Frieders both had solid rides and finished in fifth and sixth. Corrine Conley rode well in a large class and received a fifth place. Makennah Rettig and Kaitlyn Borer each had great rides and finished in reserve and fifth; Emily Boersen had a strong ride. Joshua Easterling had a wonderful ride and ended in sixth place. Arissa Hendershot earned the highest score of the day for the Dragons with a second place for her beautiful ride. 
 
The next huntseat show for the equestrian team is October 27th at the University of Dayton.
