Michael Boswell received Third Team All-American by the D2CCA. He is the third player in school history to receive D2CCA All-American honors. 

Boswell led the Dragons in the 2022 regular season. The Dragons were the GMAC regular-season champions with a conference record of 22-6 and 29-19 overall record.

Michael Boswell led the team with an 8-3 record, four complete games, two shutouts, a 1.96 ERA, pitched 78.0 innings, allowed 53 hits, 26 runs, 17 earned runs, 98 strikeouts, 11.31 strikeouts per nine innings, and led the conference holding opponents to a .187 batting average. He fanned 16 batters in his conference tournament start vs. Walsh. In conference play, Boswell was 6-1 with a 1.04 ERA. This year he broke the all-time school record for career wins with 26. The previous record was held by Gregg Prenzlin with 23 from 1994-97.

This year Boswell has been named GMAC Pitcher of the Year, NCBWA Pitcher of the Year, D2CCA First Team All-Region, and ABCA First Team All-Region.
