2017:

Alec McCurry continued to build upon a solid career for the Dragons, seeing action in a career high 49 games. Alec finished with 48 hits with 10 being for extra bases. McCurry set career highs in home runs (3), RBIs (29), walks (16), and stolen bases (6). Since Tiffin began competing at the division II level, Alec has the 7th most hits (123) and 5th most home runs (5). 

2016:

Alec played in and started 47 games. McCurry finished with a .343 batting average in 169 plate appearances. Alec finished second on the team in hits with 58. McCurry collected nine doubles, 19 RBI's, and stole four bases. Alec finished with a .408 slugging percentage and a .417 on base percentage. Alec earned a 2nd team All-GLIAC selection, and a selection to the GLIAC All-Academic team.

2015:

Alec saw action in 30 games for the Dragons. He finished the season with a .262 batting average, collecting 16 hits in 61 plate appearances. McCurry knocked in 10 runs while scoring 7.

Personal:

Alec is the son of Tom and Tracy McCurry. Alec has an older brother, Cole, a member of the baseball team as well. Alec plans to major in Sports and Recreation Management

High School:

Alec graduated from Olentangy Orange High School. While attending, McCurry was a 4-time letterman in baseball, 2-time All-Conference, 2-time All-District, 2nd team All-Ohio, and holds the school records for stolen bases and walks in a season. Alec would play football for Olentangy Orange High as well.
