Coach Scott Taylor is in his first year as Head Coach for the Tiffin University Men’s Volleyball Club team. 2022 is the inaugural season for Men’s Club Volleyball at Tiffin. Coach Taylor founded and played college Club Volleyball at Bethany College in the 1980s as well as played Club Volleyball at West Virginia University while earning his master's degree.
Taylor, formerly Head Volleyball Coach at Lakeview High School, amassed a record of 290 wins vs 119 defeats in his career and was recently elected into the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association’s Hall of Fame. While coaching high school, he earned many state, district, and county awards during his 18-year varsity career.
Most recently Coach Taylor was a volunteer coach with the Tiffin University Women’s Volleyball team. He coached the defensive specialists as well as middle hitters. The TU women advanced to the GMAC conference finals two of those three years.
Coach Taylor is looking forward to being part of this brand new adventure for TU athletics. “The tradition starts here!”
