Lambert was nearly unstoppable from the plate in Tiffin softball's home sweeps of Malone and Walsh over the weekend, notching 11 hits in 17 at-bats for a .647 average. The junior also scored five runs and had seven RBI, three doubles, a homer, a 1.000 slugging percentage, a walk, and two steals.
She played particularly well in the openers of both doubleheaders, going 3-4 with two RBI in game one on Saturday and followed that up with a 5-5 performance in game one against Walsh on Sunday with a home run and four RBI.
With the four wins, the Dragons improve to 19-12 overall and 11-5 in the GMAC, vaulting up to fourth in the conference standings.
