Dragons place 6th as Macadam lands GMAC First Team honor

Tiffin University's women's cross country team finished 6th of 12 teams at the GMAC Championships hosted by Cedarville University.

The Dragons' 6th place finish is the best Division II conference finish in school history. Cedarville won the meet with 45 points, followed by Walsh with 61 and Hillsdale with 83.

Ines Macadam also had a record day, posting her best-ever 6K mark with a time of 21:49.9, good for 4th place overall. The finish also garnered her First Team All Conference honors.

Charlotte Campbell was next for TU in 55th in 24:15.6, while Chloe Will was 74th in 24:43.9.

Julia Spring (87th in 25:11.0) and Allison Henegar (92nd in 25:20.5) rounded out the top five for the Dragons.
