Lady Dragons head to NCAA Regional meet

Tiffin University's women's cross country squad is heading to the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Saturday in Evansville, Indiana at the Angel Mounds Cross Country Course.

The women will be running a 6K race. All tickets will be sold at the gate on race day and are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for students with free admission for children ages five and under.

Tiffin University last competed at the GMAC Championships, finishing 8th of 12 teams.

Crossing the line first for the Dragons was Ines Macadam in 50th place in 23:19.1, while Chloe Will was right behind in 53rd in 23:25.1. 

Holly Cole placed 62nd in 23:43.5, followed by Jada Gilliam (93rd in 25:20.3) and Ruthie Wyant (101st in 25:42.5).

The course will open up for the competitors at 7 a.m. with the women's race beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the men's race following at 10:45 a.m.
