Jenavi Alejandro won the 109-pound weight class, leading seven placers for Tiffin University at the Soldier Salute Open in Coralville, Iowa.
Alejandro went 5-1 overall and picked up two more wins on day two to secure the top spot. She had a 10-0 tech fall win over Life and then took first with a slim 8-7 win over Ava Bayless.
Erin Martin (155) took 5th overall, winning the 5th-place match via forfeit over teammate Sidney Ramos who finished 6th.
Alejandra Hernandez (123) also finished 6th, getting a win by fall in 2:11 over Indiana Tech before falling by fall in 2:12 to Indiana Tech and 10-0 to Life.
TU also had three 7th-place finishes. Leah Pekar (116) fell by fall in 50 seconds to Life before being awarded a forfeit win over Life. Michal Buska (136) also got a forfeit over Indiana Tech for 7th, while Paige Lenhardt (143) got 7th place with a pin in 39 seconds over Columbia.
