Dragons send 10 grapplers to Nationals, Goebel Coach of the Year

Tiffin University's women's wrestling program will be sending 10 wrestlers to the NCWWC Nationals in Adrian, Michigan.

The Dragons recently won the Northeast Region Championship for the second consecutive year, featuring two champions and 10 grapplers finishing 4th or higher. Head Coach Nick Goebel was named Northeast Region Coach of the Year and will guide the program into the national event after landing six All Americans at last year's event.

Shore and Mottola have had breakthrough seasons, with Shore being the top-ranked wrestler in the nation at 101 pounds. Overall she is 23-1 with 13 pins, while Mottola is 27-8 with 15 falls. 
 
Grace Jones has 15 wins with 11 pins, while Morris (21-8), Miranda (26-7, 9 falls), Taryn Martin (20 wins), and Hites (26-9, 16 falls) have also posted 20 or more victories. 
 
The NCWWC Nationals will be held on March 4-5 hosted by Adrian College.
