Tiffin University, ranked 8th in NCAA Division II, took on 6th ranked Gannon in its final home dual of the season and avenged an early season loss to the Golden Knights with a big 36-6 victory.

Tiffin, which lost to Gannon 29-13 on Dec. 12, dropped only one match all night. They also benefited from three forfeit wins and closed out the night with six straight wins.

After Trinity Oredina (101) and Sugey Ceja (109) won by forfeit, Shanna Morris (116) nearly got a pin victory late in the first period before time expired. Things changed quickly in the second period, as Morris suffered the lone loss of the evening for TU by fall in 3:57.

Tiffin took control after that, with Savannah Stacks (123) powering her way to a pinfall in 2:38 followed by Stephanie Mondragon (130) getting another forfeit win.

The two closest matches of the night followed, as Eunique Davis (136) battled her way to a 6-0 victory and Sidney Ramos (143) came from behind with two points in the final 11 seconds to post a 6-4 win.

Taylor Hites (170) quickly dispatched her opponent in just 1:04, while Jessie Lee battled in a grueling match, coming from behind to register an impressive win by fall in 4:48.
