Tiffin University had a strong showing at Ferrum, avenging an early season loss by winning 28-19.
TU fell to Ferrum earlier this season 27-21 but exhibited a much more powerful effort this time around, registering 5 pins in the victory.
Brooke Richards (109) had a pin in 29 seconds to get TU on the board and was followed in 46 seconds by Jaelyn Fazio at 116 pounds.
Also posting a lightning quick pin was Eunique Davis (143) in just 4 seconds, while Jannie Renderos (170) and McKhenna Calhoun (191) also had pins in 4:00. TU's other winner was Taylor Hites (155), who had a 10-0 victory.
TU also had a 31-7 exhibition victory over Liberty.
"TU wrestled really well tonight. We battled hard and pushed back another barrier. We are still a young team that is growing but we overcame and pulled a win from a team that earlier beat us. This shows our growth from the start of the season. Overall this was a great win for our team," said Head Coach Britney Gadd.
