Tiffin University's women's wrestling squad competed at the Adrian Open, placing 5th of 10 teams.
Tiffin scored 50 points overall, trailing champion Emmanuel's 282 points. King had 171.5, while Adrian had 90 and MacMurray 57.
Brooke Richards (109) had the best day overall, placing second. After two byes, she won via pin over MacMurray in 1:38 before falling by pin to Emmanuel in 2:16 in the championship match.
Sugey Ceja (123) also did well, finishing 3rd overall. She opened with a 14-6 loss to Emmanuel, then followed a bye with a win over Lakeland and a tech fall 11-0 win over Emmanuel for third place.
Courtney Walker (101) took 6th via 3 byes, while Jaelyn Fazio (116) was 7th after two byes and a pin win over Lakeland in 1:56.
Savannah Stacks (130) had a 10-4 win over MacMurray, while Taylor Hites (155) beat Adrian 7-5 while also getting win by fall over MacMurray in 1:21. Both wrestlers took 8th overall.
Eunique Davis (155) also got a win over MacMurray by fall in 1:46.
