INDIANAPOLIS - For the third time this season, Tiffin volleyball's Jenna Huffman has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference West Division Player of the Week for her play on the court.
The junior led the Dragons to a pair of conference wins on Friday and Saturday, as Tiffin defeated Trevecca Nazarene 3-1 followed by Kentucky Wesleyan 3-0.
As she has consistently been all season, Huffman was a machine at the net, hitting at a clip of .453 in those two games with 34 kills and just five errors. She also gathered 13 digs and 12 blocks in the victories.
That pair of wins closed the regular season for Tiffin volleyball, as the Dragons are now set to begin G-MAC Championships play as the 3-seed from the West Division. As a result, TU must travel and face the 2-seed from the East, the Lake Erie College Storm, on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
