Lady Dragons win G-MAC Outdoor Championship

Tiffin University's women's outdoor track and field squad cemented their dominant position in the G-MAC, adding the outdoor championship to their indoor title at the G-MAC Championships, hitting numerous NCAA marks on the final day.
 
TU won the title with 212.50 points, finishing well ahead of Walsh's 156 points and Hillsdale's 147.
 
The Dragons took home a couple individual honors also, with Miaisha Blair landing Field Athlete of the Meet and Nicole Berry earning Freshman of the Meet.
 
The NCAA marks were hit by Nicole Berry in a championship performance in the shot put with a G-MAC record of 15.44 meters. Berry also got runner up in the Discus throw with 44.15m.
 
Marisa Gwinner won in the high jump with a provisional mark of 1.72 meters followed by Mercedeez Francis hitting another provisional mark with 1.67m.  Brenda Johnson placed 4th in the shot put with a provisional mark of (14.07m).
 
The Dragons 4x100m relay team also hit the NCAA mark by winning the event and posting a G-MAC record time of 47.33.
 
Miaisha Blair won in the Triple Jump with 11. 37m. She was followed by Emma Gielink in 3rd with 11.01m.
 
Rajiah Andrews brought another first place for TU, winning in the 100m hurdles in 14.39. Andrews also placed second in the 100 meters in 12.11 and 6th in the triple jump.
 
Alexya Peoples placed second twice, in the 400 meters in 56.79 and 200 meters in 24.86. 
 
Brittany Holbrook brought a 3rd place mark for TU in the 100 meters (12.17) and she also finished 8th in the 200 meters.
 
Placing fourth were Jazilee Williams in 100m hurdles, Shalbe Evans in the triple jump, and Tatiyana Cooper-Laylor in 100 meters. She also placed 7th in the 200 meters.
 
Other top marks came from Briana Streib (5th in discus), Dalaney Rogala (6th in high jump), Kirsten Camp (6th in 100m hurdles and 7th in high jump), Madison Siebenaler (7th in discus), and Destiny Sandlin (7th in 400m).
 
Finally, TU also finished 5th in the 4x400m relay as the team of Doss, Peoples, Sandlin, and Andrews posted a time of 3:59.98.
