Berry hits automatic mark at Kent State Open

Tiffin University's women's track and field team had a number of standout achievements at the Kent State Invitational. 
 
The Lady Dragons hit an Automatic mark and three provisional marks at the invite. Nicole Berry won in the shot put, hitting the NCAA Automatic mark with 15.64m. 
 
Berry was followed by Brenda Johnson, who hit the provisional mark with 14.89m. 
 
Madeline Hayes placed 6th in the pole vault with an NCAA provisional mark of 3.70m. Another NCAA provisional mark was hit by Brittany Holbrook, who won in the 200 meters, posting a time of 24.72. 
 
Alexya Peoples was second in the 400 meters (57.93), and Rajiah Andrews finished 3rd in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.02. Jazilee Williams placed 5th in 60 hurdles.
 
Kirsten Camp (4th in long jump), Tatiyana Cooper-Laylor (6th in 400m), Madison Doss (7th in 400m), Mercedeez Francis (7th in high jump), and Emma Gielink (6th in 60m hurdles and 8th in triple jump) also had top finishes for the Dragons.
