Kirsten Camp has been named G-MAC Field Athlete of the Week.
Camp competed in the pentathlon at the Saginaw Valley State Open, recording a provisional qualifying point total and the fourth most points in conference history.
The top three pentathlon point totals in the conference record books are held by former Ursuline national champ Janelle Perry. Camp scored 3,472 points with a balanced effort in the five-event showcase.
Camp won the high jump by clearing 1.67m (5' 5.75"), a top 10 height clearance in Great Midwest history.
She was the runner-up in the long jump and crossed the finish line in fourth of the 800-meter run. Camp also scored points in the shot put with a fifth-place finish and placed sixth in the 60-meter hurdles.
Camp's new point total officially ranks 14th in the multis events scored among NCAA provisional qualifiers.
