Lady Dragons compete at Dragon Open

Tiffin University's women's track and field squad had a number of standout performances in the Heminger Center, as they competed in the annual Tiffin Dragon Open.

Kristen Massey posted the first win of the day for TU, crossing the line in the 60 meter dash in 7.73. She was joined later in the day by Miaisha Blair, who won the triple jump with a leap of 11.26 meters (36-11.5).

TU got four other second place finishes. Emma Gielink was runner-up in the 60 hurdles in 9.22, while Adaysha Parker was also second in the 300 meters in 43.03. Dalaney Rogala also took second in the high jump with a clearnace of 1.61 meters (5-3.25).

The 4x400 relay team of Parker, Massey, Brittany Holbrook, and Madison Doss were also second with a time of 4:10.79.

Anaiyah Strickland placed third in the 60 hurdles, while Monica Carson was also third in the shot put, hitting a provisional mark with a toss of 14.41 meters.

Picking up fourth place finishes were Alexis Cloud (60 hurdles), Courtney Brown (high jump), Doss (300), and Shalbe Evans (long jump).
