Anaelle Lepinay and the Dragons defeated Ferris State 6-1.

Tiffin University (3-0) got off to a good regional start with a 6-1 win over Ferris State.
The Dragons, ranked 6th in the region, picked up a point by taking two of the doubles matches. Carina Avram/Anaelle Lepinay picked up a hard-fought 7-6 (7-4) win, while Emily Barrett/Shea Foster also won a close one 7-5. Jessica Peace/Sharanya Shetty fell in their match 6-3.
Tiffin won four of the singles matches in straight sets. Lepinay posted a 6-4, 6-4 win while Barrett won 6-4, 6-3. Peace enjoyed a 6-3, 6-1 victory, and Shetty won at 6th singles 7-5, 6-3.
Avram also picked up a win via retirement, while Celine Ferron fell 2-6, 6-3, 1-0.
