Tiffin University (1-0) got off to a strong start with a 7-0 shutout of Goshen on the road to start their dual match season.
TU dropped just two games over three matches in doubles play. Anaelle Lepinay/Emily Barrett defeated Sarah Himshon/Hannah McCoy 6-1, Sharanya Shetty/Allessandra Maganuco blew past Szofia Kallai/Meaghan Godzioz 6-1, and Dominique Matich-Reynolds/Aashi Kapoor shut out Anna Osborne/Naomi Klassen 6-0.
It was similar in singles play. All the victories were in straight sets, as Emily Barrett defeated Szofia Kallai 6-3, 6-0, Allessandra Maganuco beat Sarah Himshon 6-3, 6-3, and Sharanya Shetty clipped Hannah McCoy 6-2, 6-3. Anaelle Lepinay and Dominique Matich-Reynolds bagled their opponents, as Lepinay won over Meaghan Godzioz, and Reynolds defeated Anna Osborne by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Aashi Kapoor posted a win of the breadstick variety, defeating Naomi Klassen 6-1, 6-1.
