MIDLAND, Mich. - Tiffin women's tennis cruised to their sixth-straight win to open the 2019-20 season on Sunday, defeating Northwood 4-0.
The Dragons earned the doubles point with two victories, starting with Anais Geslin and Emily Sim taking a 6-4 win at No. 2. Shea Foster and Jacqueline Kamps also won at No. 3 by the same score to clinch the point.
Tiffin quickly picked up three more victories in singles as Geslin dominated her No. 2 opponent 6-0, 6-1, Sim dispatched her No. 3 opponent 6-2, 6-4, and Courtney Fyvie won at No. 6 7-6, 6-1.
After the Dragons earned the fourth and match-winning point, the other three singles pairings went unfinished.
Tiffin will look to keep the momentum going strong next Saturday when they face Ashland at the Lakewood Racquet Club in Lexington.
