HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Tiffin women's tennis battled close with Palm Beach Atlantic, but fell 5-2 on Thursday morning.
The Dragons narrowly missed picking up the doubles point, winning one of the three matches as Emily Sim and Abbie-Jade Riley took a 6-1 victory at No. 2.
Tiffin enjoyed a pair of singles victories on the day, as Sim also won at No. 3 singles 3-6, 6-1, 10. The other winner was Mylah Riland at No. 5 as she picked up a 6-4, 3-6, 10-7 victory.
Lauren Prince also took her singles opponent to three sets at No. 4, but dropped a tight 3-6, 6-2, 10-2 contest.
The Dragons wrap up their Spring Break trip tomorrow morning against Barton College.
