HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Tiffin women's tennis faced a tough opponent in the No. 9 team in the nation on Sunday morning, falling 7-0 to Florida Southern.
Lauren Prince came the closest in singles for the Dragons, dropping a narrow first set 7-6 (4) at No. 4 singles before falling 6-2 in the second.
In doubles action, it was Prince again that nearly got Tiffin on the board, as she teamed up with Juliette Sirgant for a tight, 7-5 defeat at No. 1 doubles.
The Dragons have a day off tomorrow before returning to the courts Tuesday against Erskine at 8:30 a.m.
