DELAWARE, Ohio - The Tiffin women's tennis team wrapped up a 2-0 road trip on Saturday afternoon with a 9-0 sweep of Division III Ohio Wesleyan University.
The Dragons only dropped one set across the nine matches, and won four sets by a 6-0 score.
Anais Geslin won the most tightly contested match of the day at No. 1 singles by a score of 6-1, 4-6, 1-0 (10-4). Abbie-Jade Riley backed that up with a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles, and the two of them paired up to win No. 1 doubles 8-3.
Juliette Sirgant and Emily Sim only dropped one game between the two of them at No. 3-4 singles, while Sirgant and Lauren Prince took home an 8-1 No. 2 doubles victory.
Finally, Prince and Milah Ryland also dispatched their opponents at No. 5-6 singles with ease before Shea Foster teamed up with Ryland for an 8-3 win in No. 3 doubles.
Tiffin will be back in action a week from today when they travel to Lexington, Ohio and the Lakewood Racquet Club to take on Indiana Tech on Saturday and Purdue Northwest on Sunday.
