Dragons Conclude Season Against Findlay

TIFFIN, Ohio - Tiffin women's soccer wrapped up their 2019 season against the University of Findlay on Tuesday, falling to the Oilers by a final score of 3-0.

Tiffin put up a great fight on the afternoon, holding the Oilers scoreless over the first 60 minutes. Molly Miller was impressive in goal for the second-straight game, saving six shots in the first-half and 11 overall.

Findlay would break through in the 63rd minute, however, scoring twice in a span of 46 seconds to take a 2-0 lead. The Oilers added one more tally in the 75th minute to bring their total to three.

The Dragons had a couple of chances to get on the board in the game, including a free kick from just outside the box in the 31st minute. With the score currently tied at zero, Sierra Besecker very nearly gave TU the lead with a bending strike that curled just over the crossbar.

Besecker had three total shots, with one going on frame late in the second half but Findlay keeper Anna Money was there to turn the attempt aside.

The Dragons finish the year at 1-14-2 and 1-10-2 in GMAC play.
