Dragons Fall to Arrows on the Road

PEPPER PIKE, Ohio - Tiffin women's soccer continued their GMAC-opening road trip with a match against Ursuline College on Friday afternoon, falling to the Arrows by a final score of 2-0.

Ursuline improves to 1-0-0 in conference play and 2-1-1 overall, while the Dragons fall to 0-5-1 and 0-1-1 in GMAC action.

Both of Ursuline's goals came in the first half, as Jarah Froelich tallied in the 27th minute and Hannah Pickens followed shortly after in the 40th minute of action.

The Dragons did not get a lot going offensively in the game, taking four total shots and putting two on goal. Claudia Santillan led the way with two of those four attempts. 

The ball was on TU's defensive end for the majority of the match, as the Arrows peppered the Dragon defense with 21 total shots and 16 on goal. Nahomi Lopez racked up 14 saves on the afternoon in goal for Tiffin.

TU's road trip wraps up on Sunday with a match at Lake Erie at 3:30 p.m. After that, the Dragons will return home to face Trevecca Nazarene and Kentucky Wesleyan next week.
