Dragon Details:

Tiffin's defense looked very impressive in their first conference game of the season last Saturday, as the Dragons battled preseason coaches' poll No. 2 Findlay to a 0-0 draw. The Oilers managed just five shots on target, with TU's Nahomi Lopez turning aside each one.

Senior midfielder Sierra Besecker leads the team in points (3) and shots (7), registering one goal and one assist. Claudia Santillan has assisted on a pair of scores thus far, while Lauryn Grcic, Leila Hannaoui, and Lily Cady have each chipped in a goal.

Nahomi Lopez has played all 450+ minutes in goal for the Dragons, recording 34 saves and a .723 save percentage.

Scouting the Arrows:

Ursuline has played just three games in 2019, entering the weekend with one win, one loss, and one draw. They fell to Clarion and defeated West Liberty in nonconference action to open the season, before tying 1-1 at Lake Erie last Saturday in their GMAC opener.

In those three games, the Arrows are averaging 17.3 shots per contest while only allowing 10.7. 

Individually, Sarah Mitchell leads the squad in the early going with two of their three goals on just five shots. Jarah Froelich has the other score, while Dominique Buddenhagen has recorded the lone assist for Ursuline this season.

Gina Cerny has played all 290 minutes in goal this season, registering a 0.93 goals against average, 19 saves, and a 0.864 save percentage.

Scouting the Storm:

Lake Erie is off to an impressive start to the season, going unbeaten in their first five games with a mark of 3-0-2. That said, they are 1-0-2 in contests against fellow Division II competition, with a win at Glenville State and a pair of draws against Notre Dame (Ohio) and Ursuline. The Storm will also host Findlay on Friday before welcoming Tiffin on Sunday.

The Storm have outscored opponents 6-1 and but been outshot 45-41 through their first five games. 

Sophomore Haley Scherer leads the team with three goals on seven shots, while Holland Erb has recorded two goals on six shots. Carley Kandel has registered the most shot attempts on the team with 11, but has just one goal to show for it along with an assist. Emilie Coyne, Baylor Fortune, and Peyton Frankovich have also notched one assist apiece thus far.

Freshman Megan Biddell has played every minute in goal for the Storm, allowing just the one goal for a 0.23 goals against average with 23 saves, a 0.953 save percentage, and three shutouts.
