The Tiffin University women's soccer team conceded a 1-0 loss at home, falling to Ohio Valley in a narrow G-MAC contest.
The first half witnessed 11 shots from the Fighting Scots and 3 shots from Tiffin. The Dragons entered halftime with the score tied at 0-0, as TU goalkeeper Shelby Haworth managed three saves.
In the 2nd half, the Fighting Scots kept the pressure on the Dragons' defense, taking 8 shots in the half. In the 71st minute, Ohio Valley cracked the scoreless tie with a shot to the opposite post to give the Fighting Scots a 1-0 lead, and eventual conference victory. Tiffin's Alli McCabe had a shot on goal in the 84th minute but the OVU goalkeeper made the save to preserve the victory.
Haworth's performance in goal was excellent, facing 19 shots, 8 on goal, and making 7 saves.
The Dragons will play next against Findlay on October 23.
