Trojans clip Dragons 3-0 in G-MAC contest

The Tiffin University women's soccer team fell behind in the 1st half and never recovered, losing 3-0 to Trevecca Nazarene.
 
Trevecca found the net in the 24th minute of the 1st half, as Makena Schlosser scored on the cross from the left from Lexie Hayes and took the lead 1-0. Even though the Dragons fired 8 shots and 3 corner kicks in the 1st half, none of them found the net. Trevecca had only 3 shots and 2 corner kicks in the 1st half but took the one goal lead into halftime. 
 
In the 2nd half, TNU began throwing plenty of shots towards the Dragons' goal. Trevecca produced the 2nd goal in the 68th minute and took the lead 2-0. Later, Trevecca added an insurance goal in the 73rd minute to push their lead to 3-0. Claire Brothen scored both goals, utilizing the pass from Lexie Hayes and taking the shot from inside the box on the latter goal. 
 
Overall, the Dragons had 11 shots to 10 shots for Trevecca. The Trojans' Delayna Holman saved 7 of the 10 shots and Shelby Haworth took the loss in goal for Tiffin, saving 3 shots.
 
Tiffin falls to 0-6 overall and 0-4 in the conference.
